Greetings Kristoffer,
Me knew nothing about ignition as well, but recently I have been trying to get the 123-ignition in and since that time I'm learning a lot.
What I know, I can try to get accros to you. The steps below are for adjusting the time when the ignition will take place.
Please anyone correct me if I'm wrong
* One point is that your motor should stand for the ignition point of the first cylinder before you start adjusting. (There is a 6 mm hole in your gearbox on the righthand side to make sure) Turn the motor by hand!
* the flywheel (octane regulator) should stand in the middle, with the thingy pointing down.
* Hopefully you have a special control-lamp special for this purpose (I don't know the name right now, but maybe somebody else does). Put this control lamp between the minus pole of your accu and the condensator on your ignition.
* losen the nut, with which the ignition is kept in its place, so that it is not turning
* Slowly turn the ignition house counter clockwise untill the control lamp starts burning. This is the moment that the contactpoints (in the ignition) starts to open and ignition will take place.
* Tighten in this position the nut again
BE SURE THAT THE 6 MM PEN HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE GEARBOX BEFORE YOU START
If everything is well you should now be ready to make a test start.
Good luck,
